Dining Hall Policy and Account Setup

Student Dining Account Policy

Students will be notified by the dining services cashiers whenever their meal account balance falls below $10.00.

Students may continue to purchase any menu items, even if their account has a negative balance, until the balance reaches -$50.00. This flexibility provides families with ample time to replenish their student’s account.

Funds may be added by:

  • Cash
  • Check (payable to St. Augustine Preparatory School)
  • PaySchools Central

PaySchools Central Login

To create or access your account, you will need:

  • Your son’s 7-digit Student ID number (available in MyPrep)
  • The school name: St. Augustine Preparatory School

PaySchools Central also allows families to:

  • Set up automatic account replenishment
  • Receive low-balance and negative-balance notifications

We strongly encourage taking advantage of these features. Please allow up to two business days for online payments to be credited to your student’s account.

Students with a Negative Balance

No student will ever be denied access to lunch.

However, once a student’s account reaches a negative balance of $50.00 or more, or remains at that balance for more than three days, the Director of Dining Services may place restrictions on additional purchases. These restrictions may include limiting or denying purchases during breakfast, break, and after-school service.

Students with restricted accounts will be permitted to purchase lunch only, choosing one of the following options:

  1. Deli sandwich and beverage
  2. Salad and beverage
  3. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich and beverage

Financial Assistance

We care about the well-being of every student. If your family is experiencing financial hardship that affects your ability to pay for meals (beyond an unintentional overdraft), please contact us. We will work with the School Administration to determine an appropriate solution.
