AVI & SAVI Experiences
At St. Augustine Prep, faculty, staff, and students engage with the wider Augustinian community through AVI and SAVI. These programs offer short, enriching weekends of faith, prayer, and reflection, fostering connections and sharing Augustinian values.
AVI
The Augustinian Values Institute (AVI) is a program of the Augustinian Secondary Educational Association (ASEA), established to foster unity and development within Augustinian secondary education. Held annually, AVI brings together faculty, staff, and board members from Augustinian schools worldwide. Over one weekend, participants share and learn about implementing Augustinian values in the classroom, engage in discussions and reflections, and bond through prayer and social activities.
SAVI
The Student Augustinian Values Institute (SAVI) mirrors AVI but is student-led. Selected students from participating schools attend this annual conference to discuss and reflect on the Augustinian values of truth, unity, and love. Over a three-day event, students learn to apply these teachings in their schools and build a stronger global Augustinian community.
