Veritas
Veritas, or Truth, is a guiding pillar of our Augustinian identity at St. Augustine Prep. In the spirit of St. Augustine’s own journey toward God, our students are called to seek Truth not only through knowledge, but through faith, reflection, and service. This pursuit forms the heart of our Mission & Ministry — encouraging young men to live with integrity, grow in their relationship with Christ, and become instruments of truth and compassion in the world.
Unitas
Unitas, or Unity, lies at the heart of our brotherhood at St. Augustine Prep. Grounded in the teachings of St. Augustine, we strive to build a community rooted in mutual respect, shared purpose, and the love of God. In classrooms, chapels, and everyday encounters, students are called to see Christ in one another — forging bonds that transcend differences and reflect the unity of the Body of Christ. Through this spirit of Unitas, our young men learn to walk together in faith, compassion, and service.
Caritas
Caritas, or Love, is the animating force of our mission at St. Augustine Prep. Inspired by Christ’s example and the teachings of St. Augustine, our students are called to live lives of selfless love — expressed through service, compassion, and a deep care for others. Caritas is not merely an ideal, but a way of life: it shapes how we treat one another, how we serve those in need, and how we build a more just and loving world. At the Prep, Caritas is the visible expression of faith in action.
Servant Leadership
The Hermit Brotherhood embodies the teachings of St. Augustine and follows his guidance through student-led community service programs, energy-saving initiatives, donations to local schools and shelters, and other endeavors that align with the schools emphasis of servant leadership.
