Hermits Basketball Head Coach: Paul Rodio '70

Coach Paul Rodio, a proud alumnus of St. Augustine Prep, has led the Hermits basketball program since 1977. Over his storied career, he has amassed over 1,000 wins, making him the winningest coach in South Jersey history and among the top three in the state. 

Under his leadership, St. Augustine has captured numerous Cape-Atlantic League, South Jersey, and Non-Public State Championships, building a tradition of sustained excellence.

More than just wins, Coach Rodio’s legacy is defined by decades of mentorship, shaping generations of student-athletes through discipline, teamwork, and Augustinian values. His influence resonates across the Prep community well beyond the basketball court.
