Welcome to the Home of the Hermits
At St. Augustine Prep, our goal is to help you excel, on the field and in the classroom. Whether you aspire to compete in collegiate or professional athletics or simply play for the love the game, our coaches and your Hermit Brothers will support your success.
The Hermits Athletics family is dedicated to the school's Augustinian mission, recognizing the crucial role athletic competition plays in a young man's development into a Christian Gentleman.
We offer 22 varsity athletic programs, ensuring opportunities for all students to participate and thrive.
Registration for the 2025-26 Athletics Season is Now Open!
We invite all students to register for the sports they are interested in for the upcoming year.
Registering does not commit you to a sport—it simply ensures you’re added to the proper communication lists before each season begins.
The Richland Rowdies
The school spirit at St. Augustine Prep is incomparable. Prep students, widely-known as the Richland Rowdies, exhibit the best aspects of athletic fans: loyalty, organization, and creativity.

We thank all who joined us at the Prep on Saturday, March 22, 2025, as the school honored these proud representatives of the Hermits Brotherhood who excelled in their sports or roles and brought honor, recognition, distinction, and excellence to St. Augustine Prep. This recognition maintains the school’s spirit, pride, and sense of community and celebrates the storied history and tradition of Hermits Athletics.
