Transportation Forms & Resources

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The State of New Jersey mandates that all non-public school students must have a B6T on file, regardless of how your son travels to school. Forms must be returned to the Prep Transportation Office so we can meet the state's Aid-In-Lieu deadline. We are unable to accept scanned or faxed copies of the B6T. It must be the original form. If you have qualified for state reimbursement in the past, you are still eligible for the Aid-In-Lieu even if your son carpools or drives to school. This past year, the reimbursement from NJ was $1,177.00. The mileage for eligibility is less than 20 miles from your home to school for all counties, EXCEPT, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties, for which the mileage is less than 30 miles.

The transportation fee is $1,970.00. The Shuttle (transportation to and from OLMA only) is $875.00. If your son will be riding the bus, please submit the Transportation Form along with a non-refundable deposit to secure a seat. Forms received without payment will not be considered. Seats are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note Bus 2, Bus 6, Bus 8, Bus 12 and Bus 13 fill up quickly. Once we reach capacity, a “wait list” will be formed, and you will have to plan on an alternative stop. If your son will need two bus stops, they must be listed on the form. A second stop will not be considered unless it is noted on the form and there is room on the bus. It is imperative that you send in the Transportation form to secure your seat. Our contract for the number of buses required by families is based on what we have received by the March 2nd deadline. The school is liable for the Bus Contract for the entire school year per the signed Transportation forms. Refunds will not be issued if your child does not ride the bus for the entire school year. Vouchers are offered for occasional bus rides and can be purchased. Students are not permitted to ride the bus without a Bus Pass or Voucher.

Please make sure you have registered with your resident school district and provided proof of residency so they will acknowledge the B6T when we send it to them.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at 856-697-2600 ext. 142, or Mrs.Battin@hermits.com. We are looking forward to another great year at the Prep!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Christine Battin

VOUCHER PROGRAM

Many of our students arrive on campus by carpool, drive independently, or are dropped off by a parent or guardian. For those occasional days when carpooling or driving isn’t possible, we offer a convenient solution—transportation vouchers!

If your son is not signed up for full-time bus transportation, a transportation voucher is required each time he rides the bus. These vouchers help us manage space and ensure a smooth experience for all riders.

Please note: Parents are responsible for transportation if their son is not on the full-time bus list. Students riding the bus occasionally must submit a voucher each day they ride.
