The Admissions Process

We’re thrilled that you want to learn more about St. Augustine Prep! Our school welcomes students from a diverse range of backgrounds, each bringing unique talents and perspectives. We take great pride in our dynamic community and are excited that you’re considering joining us.

Your journey begins by submitting our Inquiry form! Once your inquiry form is processed, you will receive an email with your username and instructions on creating a password for your online admissions account. 

In your admissions account, you will have access to an admissions checklist. From this checklist, you will be able to:

• "Self-schedule" a campus visitation (Morning Tour or Hermit for a Day)
• Start your application
• Complete your application checklist

There are many ways to visit our campus!

From your checklist, you may "self-schedule" a campus tour: Your family can choose from our famous Hermit Family Experience Morning Tour or the complete student experience in our Hermit for a Day program!

We also invite you to join us for one of our admission events designed to educate you about our admission process and everything that makes St. Augustine Prep such a special place.

For families applying to Grades 8 and 9, the first step is to submit an inquiry form. You will then receive an email with instructions to create your password and access our admission portal & application checklist. 

• Application: A completed, paid-for application, a completed student statement, and all checklist steps are mandatory for an admissions decision. 
• Checklist Steps: Report Card(s), Teacher Recommendations (Math and English), Standardized Test Scores (optional), Additional Awards/Honors/Recommendations

Once your son's checklist is completed and your application is submitted, it will be shared with our committees for review, and an admissions decision will be made. Please review our Admissions Calendar for application deadlines.

To be considered for financial aid as part of the main admission season, new families must submit a financial aid application using Clarity no later than Dec. 20, 2025. Visit Affording St. Augustine Prep for more information about the application process. 

• August 15 (Application Opens) - The Application for the Classes of 2030 (9th Grade) and 2031 (8th Grade) is officially open!
• November 28 (Early Decision Application Deadline) - Applicants seeking an early admissions decision. All completed applications submitted by November 28 are guaranteed an admissions decision on or before December 19, 2025. All completed applications submitted after the deadline will be considered for regular admission.  After the November 28 deadline, we transition to a rolling admission season through the winter and spring. Families are strongly encouraged to complete their application in November as part of our main admission season.  Space becomes limited for new students after this time.

• December 15-19 (First Admissions Decisions) - In order to be considered in the Early Decision pool, your application must be submitted by the November 29 deadline.

• December 20 (Financial Aid Applications Due) - Deadline for Clarity Financial Aid Applications

• January 1 (Rolling Admissions) - Complete applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with enrollment availability taken into account.

• January 10-15 (First round of Financial Aid and Scholarship Decisions) - In order to be considered for Financial Aid, families must submit the Clarity Financial Aid Application by December 20.
