Meet the Admissions Team

Mr. JC Valore serves as the Executive Director of Admissions.

Mr. Valore has been a valued member of the St. Augustine Preparatory School community since 2004. A graduate of the University of Delaware, Mr. Valore has served the school in various capacities throughout his tenure.

Before taking on his current role as Executive Director for Admissions, Mr. Valore served as the Dean of Student Leadership, where he focused on fostering personal growth and leadership skills among students. His experience also includes time as a Business Faculty member, where he contributed to the academic development of the school.

In addition to his work in administration and academics, Mr. Valore has been the Head Lacrosse Coach at St. Augustine Prep, leading the team to notable achievements, including a state championship.

Mr. Brendan Towell serves as the Director of Engagement

Mr. Towell has been an integral part of St. Augustine Preparatory School since 2010. An Augustinian-educated individual, he graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School in 2004 and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religious & Theological Studies from Merrimack College in 2008.

At St. Augustine Prep, Mr. Towell serves as the Director of Engagement and is a valued member of the Theology Department. Over the years, he has held several key roles, including Assistant to the Head of School for Mission and Ministry, Associate Director of Alumni Leadership—the first non-alumnus to hold this position.

As Head Coach, Mr. Towell transformed the Hermits Rugby program into an elite, championship-level team. Under his leadership, the program gained regional recognition and solidified its status as a premier high school rugby team, fostering a culture of excellence and sportsmanship.

Valarie Ward brings six years of dedicated experience to her role as Admissions Officer and Family Outreach Coordinator at St. Augustine Preparatory School. As a proud parent of a 2022 alumnus and a current member of the Class of 2028, Valarie’s connection to the Prep runs deep. Her firsthand understanding of the school community and its values makes her an exceptional resource for families exploring the Hermit Brotherhood.

Valarie is passionate about guiding new families on their journey, providing a welcoming and knowledgeable first point of contact. Her warm approach and insights ensure families feel confident and supported as they learn about the transformative opportunities at St. Augustine Prep.
