Summer assignments are designed to keep students engaged, sharpen their skills, and set the tone for a strong academic year ahead. Below you’ll find details and resources for each grade level, including reading guides, creative projects, and course-specific assignments.

Dates to Remember

Interdisciplinary Summer Reading (Classes of 2026–2028)

We’re proud to continue our Interdisciplinary Summer Reading Initiative, designed to help students make cross-curricular connections through carefully selected reading and creative project work. Students will also complete a written response on the first day of school based on a thematic writing prompt.

Choose One Book for Your Grade Level and Follow the Corresponding Reading Guide & Project Instructions:

Incoming Students (Classes of 2029 & 2030)

AP-Level Classes

Students enrolled in AP courses for the 2025–2026 academic year are expected to complete summer assignments as communicated by their instructors. These are required, and critical for beginning the year strong.
