St. Augustine Preparatory School welcomed its newest Hermits to campus this week as members of the Class of 2030 and Class of 2031 took part in Freshman and 8th Grade Orientation.
This fall, St. Augustine Prep welcomes 155 freshmen to the Class of 2030 and 50 eighth-grade students to the Class of 2031, marking the beginning of their journey within the Brotherhood.
Orientation gives new students an opportunity to become comfortable with campus before the academic year begins. Throughout the day, students met teachers and classmates, walked through their schedules, located classrooms, learned their locker combinations and began building relationships with the upperclassmen and faculty members who will support them throughout their Prep experience.
For the Class of 2030, Freshman Orientation marked an important first step into high school and the academic, athletic, spiritual and extracurricular opportunities ahead.
Christian Siciliano, Director of the Eighth-Grade, welcomed the Class of 2031 to St. Augustine Prep’s distinctive eighth-grade experience, giving them an early opportunity to become part of the school community and begin developing the friendships, habits and confidence that will carry them into their high school years.
More than simply learning their way around campus, both orientation programs introduce students to the culture of St. Augustine Prep: a community grounded in Brotherhood, Augustinian values and a commitment to forming young men prepared to lead.
