8th Grader Chase Korenkiewicz ’30 Recognized in NJWEA Essay Contest

St. Augustine Prep congratulates Chase Korenkiewicz ’30 on being recognized for his award-winning essay in the NJWEA Southern Section Essay Contest, sponsored by the New Jersey Water Environment Association.

Chase earned recognition for his thoughtful essay on the importance of protecting the environment to help ensure access to clean water for future generations. The topic was introduced earlier this year through a special presentation by ACUA (Atlantic County Utilities Authority) to the Prep’s 8th-grade science classes, highlighting the importance of environmental stewardship and water sustainability.

Joining Chase during the presentation were Amy Cook-Menzel of ACUA and his proud 8th-grade science teacher, Mr. Davis.

St. Augustine Prep is proud of Chase’s accomplishment and grateful for ACUA’s continued partnership in educating and inspiring the Hermit Brotherhood through meaningful, real-world learning experiences.
