Dress Code

This annual tradition officially welcomes the freshman class to the Hermit Brotherhood.

Freshmen must report in their winter uniforms.

The ceremony will be held in the Rodio Gymnasium at the Buondonno Forum on Wednesday, September 9, at 8:15 am.  Seating will begin at 7:45 a.m., and the ceremony will conclude at approximately 9:20 am

Additional details regarding attendance, parking, etc. will be sent via email.
 

PICTURE DAY INFORMATION

Friday, September 11 | HermitFest 3 pm
Hermits Football vs. Holy Spirit at 6 pm

All freshmen are strongly encouraged to attend this FUN-FILLED event – students will also be granted a dress-down day. Students will be able to purchase admission before the event, including a special HermitFest t-shirt, food, music, games, and activities from 2:30 to 5:30 pm and concludes with admission to the home football game vs. Holy Spirit HS at 6 pm.  

This is a signature event designed to bring together the entire Prep community as parents, guardians, and families are also encouraged to attend. This will be the first experience for the Class of 2030 to officially join the Richland Rowdies!

Students must be in Winter Uniform on both days

Information regarding portrait packages will be shared upon confirmation.

Dress Code

The 2026-27 Club & Activities Fair will be held in Rodio Gym on September 22 during Community Time.

Over 40+ Leadership Opportunities will be represented throughout the gymnasium, giving students the opportunity to pursue their passions outside of the classroom. Follow the button below to learn more about the variety of clubs and activities offered.

If you don't see your club or interest listed, students are encouraged to petition to start a brand new club!

All students must submit the NJ B6T form—even if they do not plan to ride the bus.

All incoming students will be issued a school Chromebook.

Devices are available for pickup on Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 12 pm in the Main Office of the Buondonno Forum​​​​​​.

Chromebook Setup Instructions

Upon pickup, students are instructed to power on their Chromebooks and log into their devices. Please plug the device into a power source and leave it powered on for 4 hours to allow all software updates to install.

Blazer Patches

Per the 2026-27 Dress Code, all students are required to have the school patch affixed to their blazers for the Brotherhood Ceremony and Picture Day. Patches are currently available at the Prep Shop in the Buondonno Forum.

Student Handbook

The athletic department invites all students to register for their sports of interest for each season. Please note that registering for a sport does not commit you to your selection but places you on the communication list prior to the beginning of each sport’s season.

Please scan the information carefully and monitor your hermits.org emails as you may receive additional communication directly from the Athletic office or from the coach of your selected spring sport.
